Surfing Lessons with Bob

Surfing lessons with Bob Roberts of East Island Surf Adventures [(787) 435-1760] are a great way to take home a cool souvenir -- knowing how to surf! Bob gives a quick lesson on theory and proper postures, then takes new students out to catch some waves. Most students are standing up, riding waves during their first lesson. Bob offers lessons to all ages and skill levels, as well as surfboard rentals, excursions, and a local hotel pickup available for an additional fee.

Lessons are $60 for the first student, and $30 for each additional student. Lesson times vary according to numerous factors including the number of students taking a lesson, but generally last between an hour and an hour and a half. Visit the El Yunque Activities Message Board to arrange group lessons with other visitors, before ever setting foot in Puerto Rico.
