Casa Picaflores
Nestled in the foothills of El Yunque, Casa Picaflores is situated on a heavily wooded, 5-acre former fruit farm. A three-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation rental, Casa Picaflores boasts a fully-equipped kitchen and sleeps up to six adults.
Elegant furniture and artworks grace the house with a feeling of a home away from home, and a large tiled deck on the back of the house is perfect for sitting out and watching the moon cross the sky.
Optional meals are always available by advance arrangement.
The master bedroom features an ensuite bathroom with shower, and a walk-in closet. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom and shower. One of the bedrooms doubles as an entertainment center, with a television and DVD/CD player as well as a respectable library (long on literature, short on bodice-rippers and military make-believe). We have approximately 80 DVDs available to check out at no charge.

Wi-Fi wireless internet in El Bohio and surrounding areas; washing machine; A/C; DirecTV; 7-person jacuzzi located on the grounds; optional massage therapy; a separate activity room/honor bar available for special events and meals; a playset (swing, slide, playhouse) for small kids; rain-forest trails on our property leading to a large stream for wading and swimming; and an entirely fenced-in compound.
Our fruits include: West Indian sour cherry (acerola), passion fruit, rose-apple (poma rosa), starfruit (carambola), jackfruit, soursop (guanabana), mango, guava (guayaba), grapefruit (toronja), Caribbean sweet lime (limon verde), coconut, multiple varieties of banana, canastela, caimito, Seville oranges, and avocado.

High Season Rates from $190/night + 7% Room Tax. Two-night minimum.
April and May, 2008: $140/night + 7% Room Tax. Two night minimum
